Waikawa bayWAIKAWA BAY
Hire a kayak or go for a swim in Waikawa Bay. Ideal playground for children. looking out to the Snout and into the
Queen Charlotte Sound. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch or dinner at 'Skippers'which overlooks Waikawa Bay and the Marina.

WAIKAWA MARINA
Waikawa Marina is the largest Marina south of Auckland with over 600 boats in the Marina. Wander around the Marina and enjoy a whitebait sandwich (depending on the season) at the waterfront cafe & bar, the Jolly Roger or have breakfast, sumptuous lunch or dinner at the newly opened Spinnaker Restaurant & Conference Centre.

EDWIN FOX AND MUSEUMPicton Foreshore Marlborough
Dunbar Wharf near the Ferry Terminal. Open daily 9am-5pm ﾖ summer until 6:30. Edwin Fox was built in 1853 and is one of the oldest wooden ships still afloat. A dry dock is currently under construction as part of a restoration project.. the museum makes an interesting visit and features a well-documented history of the ship as well as souvenirs including unique cooperage crafts. All proceeds go to the restoration project. Check out the passenger list... you may find your family name among them!

PICTON MUSEUM & HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Open daily 10am ﾖ 4pm ﾖ Very informative, well worth a visit. Particular items of interest to the whaling industry which operated from Tory Channel and Port Underwood. Also interesting displays on Maori, Early Settlers and Mythical interest from around the area.

ECHO GALLERY
The gallery is a tribute to scows and scowmen of early New Zealand. Learn about the history of the scow. Now converted to cafe/restaurant

Past the Echo you will find Shelly Beach and the Queen Charlotte Yachtclub

THE TOWN CENTRE is located on High Street, through the War Memorial Arch on the Foreshore or along London Quay.

PICTON GOLF CLUB is situated on State Highway 1 at Koromiko, approximately 6 km south of Picton. This attractive 9 hole course offers a variety of interesting and challenging holes. www.pictongolfclub.co.nz

THE INTERISLANDER FERRY TERMINAL
This complex compromises Interislander and Lynx Booking Office, Mt Cook, Inter City, Coach and Shuttle terminus, Rental Car Offices, Cafe and Gift shop. A lovely setting to have lunch overlooking the water and watch the activity.
